My New Connection !!!

The title would have sounded interesting but i was talking about my new Unlimited Airtel Broadband connection. Airtel, Pioneer in broadband and Telephone services are trying to provide a complete connection solution that would keep us connected to the world.

My Friend Siddhu the Techie gave an insight of the Airtel future plans of providing the janta a whopping 8 Mbps... That would download an AVI pakka print padum in number-crunching speed of 70 secs or under 2 minutes.. With that speed on , i would rather a see a movie online rather downloading it.. In few years , i guess the word 'Buffering' would lose its luster...

Tata -Indicom is trying to cash in on the broadband market and is offering 2 Mbps connection with 9am - 9pm time slot as the free slot and a limited day usage for 500 per month. But, Few of my friends who applied for the Tata- Indicom broadband a month ago are yet to get the connection. Airtel simply beats their counterparts in the Customer-care section and prompt service. If Tata-Indicom acts like this , then it would be big Tata from the customers.

Other players like Hathway haven't penetrated the whole of the Chennai and they might have an idea of getting into this market as a big player as soon as possible.

It would be time till Mr. Vodafone stepped in this market and killing of the market players with a whack of Idea-that-every-indian-falls-for strategy.

With an unlimted 256 kbps connection, i definitely feel happy and i guess my day got better for different reasons !!!! Let the next year be the Year of Still Cheaper Broadband..
